Fundays inject us with ambivalence into our system – sure, you have the whole day to enjoy but the impending Monday morning doom starts sipping in as the night approaches. There are many ways to repress the sense of Monday sentence, like listening to anesthetic state-of-mind track of All We Are’s “Honey.” It is a xylophone-infused boogie vaulting in zippy clanks that kick out whatever hamster/squirrel is spinning the existential wheel in your brain. This song call out for mind break, you simply cannot muse with the chorus “I’ll get ya, get ya, get ya, get ya” in your earshot.

The trio All We Are released their self-titled album on February of this year. While they list Liverpool as their hometown, the band is actually comprised of global nomads including Ireland, Norway, and Brazil. You can hear hints of hip-hop and soul music in their works – perfect for lazy Sunday BYOB brunch.
