Siddhartha’s “Infinitos” Gauges Relationship Stages w/ Drinks

“Tell me what you’re drinking and I’ll tell you where your relationship is” what seems to imply the latest music video, “Infinitos” (“Infinites”), from Siddhartha. The video focuses on two lovers in three distinct phases of their relationship at the same bar. There’s the naïve beginning, where we see them sipping orange juice and exchanging sugary glances at each other while the tangy nervousness of young romance is in the air. Then there’s the tipsy honeymoon stage, where the legally old couple are sipping beer while outlining trip destinations because at this point, they’re most likely to have adult income (?). Finally, there’s the mature duo drinking coffee and finding comfort in the relationship artifacts despite the lingering sense of bitterness. Honestly, aside from the drinks, we double-checked the time based on the dude’s beard length and unibrow.

The questioning chorus is what powers the rhythmic engine that runs in a tranquil pace, encasing us in an intimate atmosphere of reflection and yearning for permanence. There’s a brief clip of Siddhartha in the end, who seemed to have watched the couple’s evolution as a bar-stander. Siddhartha has three more dates before wrapping his tour this year – oye Siddhartha, drop by LA next year and we’ll buy you a drink that won’t leave you pensive, but 😀 (starts with A, has M, and ends in F):
