Hit Chillvana w/ Day Wave’s “Gone”

There are two ways to reach Chillvana: wine or Day Wave. Former costs a bit while latter only costs a click. The Oakland indie rocker, Day Wave, released his newest single “Gone” fresh out of his upcoming EP Hard To Read (due March 4th) on Soundcloud two days ago and it encapsulates us in a reality-raincheck mood with its string glinting fuzziness. Join the dreamatic bandwagon below:

Jackson Phillips (who is also member of pop band Carousel) runs Day Wave, which is pretty much a one-dude show with guest live performers. “Gone” is a soft meditative mosaic of indie rock, self-reflective pop and vaguely chillwave – in other words, it’s an auditory glass of wine perfect for when you need cerebral breaks. Day Wave will be playing in some festivals:
