Esteman Becomes Dancing King in “Baila”

Colombian pop singer, Esteman, just released his music video for “Baila” (“Dance”) and while it is not as sticky as his Facebookrrhea song, the video is sparkly and even more intriguing for its choreographic aesthetics. While its artsy side does add up a level of sophistication, Esteman’s lankiness reminds you of a puppet or praying mantis hitting the dancefloor ALL THE TIME. Hit play below:

Seasoned with 70s-80s disco, “Baila” is a swifty grooveball infused with Esteman’s comforting oddball voice cajoling you to dance since “los que bailan se contentan” (“the ones who dance become happy”). “Baila” is from Esteman’s latest album, Caótica Belleza, which came out last August and includes collaborations with other artists including Carla Morrison and Natalia Lafourcade.
