TBT: Coiffeur is a Human Lava Lamp in His Psychedelirious “Oxígeno”

Argentinian artist, Coiffeur, steps up conventional chillwave and psychedelia to another spectrum in his “Oxígeno” (“Oxygen”) music video via elongated wavy beeps, mantric fingersnaps, and teasing xylophone taps. The entire video looks like watching the human version of a lava lamp and is as ADDictive as looking at an actual lamp:

“Oxígeno” is part of his 10-track album, Conquista de lo inutil (Conquest of the useless), which was released back in November 2013. The album touches upon existentialism and romance, packed with galactic metaphors as well as outer-dimensional imageries anchored with his synthwavy melodic flair. Coiffeur sounds like a midway between Disco Ruido and Zoé, but with an accentuating raspy high-pitch that lances your eardrums to inject feel-good substance. He has some tour dates:
