If you were crawled like a pill bug ball and refused to put pants on Valentine’s Day or Singles’ Appreciation Day (#SAD) like the protagonist of the video “Woman” by the electro-soul duo, Honne:

Then it’s time to mellow dance with yourself by hitting the bar with your galfriends! Starting out as a hotmess solo, Honne’s latest protagonist finally gets dragged to a girls’ night out and keeps dancing on her own like Robyn did, but without moaning for a dude. “Woman” is a downtempo, mellow track with semi-acoustic and electropop feel that reminds you of bands like Aquilo. Honne’s sound, however, differs by perfusing a lighter sonic air that does not confine them to melancholic boundaries. “Woman” is the newest single of the London duo who stated having written the song between SAD and International Women’s Day. They have released three EPs already and have various sold out shows:
