New Order Offers Glimpse to the Other Side of Berlin Wall in “Singularity”

British new wave icons, New Order, released their video for “Singularity” and it is a compilation of clips taken from the documentary, B-Movie: Lust & Sound in West Berlin 1979-1989, directed by Jörg A. Hoppe, Klaus Maeck, and Heike Lange. The film is based the story of Mark Reeder, a British musician and producer who moved from Manchester, England to West Berlin, Germany in 1978. Get a glimpse of the restless youth culture, drag queens, political pressures, music scene and the unglamorous side of the other side of the wall:

The documentary was released on February 8, 2015 in Germany. “Singularity” is from New Order’s new album Music Complete, released last September. They will be on tour:
