After shaking Finland’s indie scene with their aberrant oozing ballads “If You’d Meet Me Tonight” and “Weightless,” Helsinki’s trio, Feels, has finally released their debut EP Butterflies along with their video “Smoke Signals.” You can feel – no pun intended – the chillsphere of Finnish soundscape in the crystallized invigorating synth-slides of “Smoke Signals” where we see the front dudette Sofi Meronen longing for a defunct lover.
Feels is also comprised of keyboardist Mikael Myrskog and producer Joel Jons. The self-described epic electropop artists use electronic, midtempo, dreampop, and mild chillwave in their genre-palette, building a sound floating between limpid emotions and fuzzy meditation. You can indulge their full EP below:
They have one show date coming up:
3/19 – Vapaan Taiteen Tila (Helsinki, Finland)
