“Do It, Try It” With M83’s Junk

Los Angeles-based French electronic band, M83, released their fresh single “Do It, Try It” alongside the announcement of their upcoming album, Junk, which will be available on April 8. It will be the seventh album of the synth ambience builders, whose sound pile on processed layers that resonate raw human sentiments. M83 sometimes feels like a buoyant chillvana, while other times is an adrenaline-packed mood booster. Hit “Do It, Try It” below:

You’re most likely familiar with them for their 2011 breakthrough, “Midnight City.” But the inception of the group date back to 2001, when producer Anthony Gonzalez and Nicolas Fromageau (no longer in the band) decided to launch the M83 project in Antibes, France. A number of M83’s works have been featured in films for its knack to songsculpt ballads that soundtrack every highlighting point of your life…or the protagonist’s.
