After sharing cryptic snippets of her new work on Instagram, songwriter and Shiny Toy Guns’ vocalist, Carah Faye, finally shared her new music yesterday in her first solo concert at The Troubadour (Los Angeles). She released an acoustic version of her ballad, “Don’t Say a Word,” few days ago, but watching her performing it in her natural habitat (stage) brought a vim gloss to it. Enjoy the acoustic as an appetizer meanwhile:
Our pink-hair gal admitted being in the denouement stage of her new record, but based on what we indulged yesterday, her new tracks radiated a more chest-swelling, light synthpop aura as opposed to the STG’s hefty, synthrock air. Hitting Carahland was definitely a sonic getaway of teasing beats and heart-wrapping lyrics, polished with her zing flair:
She has three more tour dates coming up and as for album release date, stay tuned!
