If you haven’t already, add Léon into your repository of Swedish synthpop and soul. After releasing her debut EP Treasure last December, the Stockholm-based artist has assembled shoutouts from listeners and blogosphere around the globe for her alternative soul glossed with the ear-gluing hit beats of pop. Léon shared the acoustic version of “Treasue” yesterday, so check out her unprocessed, pristine vocals:
Now enjoy the finger-snapping, strings-tied ballad “Tired of Talking”
She emits a parallel dark elegance vibe of Lana Del Rey, but with more city girl air. Léon hasn’t released any music videos yet, but has some tour dates coming up in Europe:
4/4 – Prince Charles (Berlin, Germany)
4/7 – Le Pop-Up du Lable (Paris, France)
4/9 – Debaser Strand (Stockholm, Sweden)
4/12 – Courtyard Theatre (London, UK)
