Australian producer, Eckul, transmits us the haunted/edgy side of Venice, Italy in his new track “Venice (A Long Decay)” featuring the smoky croons of Sydney artist Blanco Son. It is a pleasantly ominous track that immediately transports you into a boat rowing through a haunted Grand Canal. The soft, yet edgy vocals of Blanco Son glide into your eardrums as the chilled-out hauling percussions stream into your system, inducing a rare tranquility despite sounding like the soundtrack of a scary movie:

Eckul shared that the main inspiration for “Venice (A Long Decay)” was a guitarist whom he encountered in the streets of Venice. With Blanco Son’s collaboration, he was able to assemble such calmingly apocalyptic track in a minimalistic format. Eckul is currently working on other projects, so make sure to keep track of him via his Facebook and SoundCloud.
