Mexican/Texan trio, The Chamanas, shared their latest single “Neblina” (“Mist”) ft. Angeles Negros, where we get caught between the lush melodic soundscape and dim tones. There is a burbling buzz that is stitched to the vocals that make the lyrics fluctuate between wooing echoes and grounded instances. The track feels like a slow last dance where you savor the moment but at the same time feel the impending loneliness – play and dream away:

“Neblina” is about saying goodbye to a relationship, but still clinging on to the hope that there is a potential future. The Chamanas formed back in 2013 and have already debuted their widely successful album Once Once back in 2015. They’ve played in SXSW and have opened for bands like Beach House in the US. They have some show dates coming up:

7/7 – Highline Ballroom (New York, NY, USA)

7/10 – Fringearts (Philadelphia, PA, USA)
