Nowadays the ratio of good to shitty songs for electropop artists is 1:everything. And usually the fugly songs sound like the knock-off versions of the good song. Sometimes, however, you run into rare breeds of artists – the unicorns of streaming land – whose songs all give off a unique flavor yet have their own sonic seal. London-based duo, Phelt, is one of them. There isn’t much information about them except they use a Gmail, have an EP coming out, and will kiss your auditory G-spot:

Phelt’s soundscape has the same dreamy ambience effect of chillwave, but relying on an assembly of synths and lightness of pop. It is the sonic Xanax to your daily problems – once you start listening to them, nothing can bother you. To keep up with the duo, follow them on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook…maybe they will start revealing themselves.
