Dive into the glimmering ocean of percussions and gleaming synths of Siddhartha’s new single “Tarde” (“Late”), where the Mexican alternative artist longs for the presence of someone. Ironically, we can all relate to “Tarde” to the emotional turmoil that Siddhartha himself put us through while we were waiting for his new materials. And the wait was worth it:

Drenched with the sparkling chords, Siddhartha chants “Mientras tu dormías / Visité tu mente” (“While you were asleep / I visited your mind”), touching upon our tendency to use our mind to make up for physical distance. The track is altogether meditative and abstracted, with Siddhartha’s emotionally soothing vocals exploring all the mind tricks and longings we do while we wait for someone. “Tarde” is from Siddhartha’s upcoming album, which he hasn’t shared any release dates yet. Meanwhile, let’s stalk him on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
