There’s something missing in the video.

Sydney producer, Taka Perry, took us into lonely euphoria where he filled us with the imagination of someone that we couldn’t find – and he pulls this off again in his music video “Slow” where we see his pal Jordi Davis (of String Elephants) who wanders around the city. There is something off though – find it out:

Jordi is the only person present in the video and Taka mentioned that the video was “about a girl that doesn’t actually exist, but a figment of imagination inside singer’s head.” Think about how you imagine an individual; there’s no one in the background and your thoughts are completely invested in the portrayal of the individual. “Slow” frames that mental image we have where our mind is too busy examining all the details in slow motion, but forgetting the background. As of now, Perry is working on his EP. You can follow him on Facebook and SoundCloud.
