Some people disappear and make you disappear.

LA quartet, Bad Suns, reciprocates the act of disappearing in their new music video “Disappear Here” where we see a gal who may have been the one who disappeared but at the same time the band members are the ones vanishing. It’s not as complicated as it sounds:

“Would you run after me? / I feel I’ve stood here once before / Would you run after me?” chants frontman Christo Bowman. There is an anxiety that permeates throughout the melody – the same type of feeling we get when we reluctantly accept the absence of someone and this distance also drives us into committing a second-degree disappearance. Comprised of Bowman, Miles Morris, Gavin Bennett, and Ray Libby, Bad Suns were founded in 2012 and their debut album Language & Perspective gained wide shoutouts from online press. “Disappear Here” is from their upcoming album with the same title that is scheduled to come out on September 16.
