Aussie trio, Passerine, knows the pains of those inner anxiety trolls we all wrestle with every day; however, rather than amplifying these emotions the trio finds a way to compartmentalize it into an electro banger of outré thumps that activates your endorphins. Packed with robotic vocals and echoing tunes, “White Shadows and Grey Noise” is a dreamy galactic sphere where the chaotically organized melody resembles the existential war we all face – march along the beats:

“To me this track felt like anxiety. That inner dialogue you hear, telling you that you’re no good, questioning your every move,” stated frontgal Phoebe. Comprised of Phoebe Dubar (vocals & viola), Alex Gooding (drums), and Ben Murphy (production), Passerine has been crafting galactic soul soundscape since 2012. They’ve already released two EPs and singles, engraving their dark and dreamy signature in the electronic scene. As of now, they have show dates coming up:

8/26 – St Kilda Festival Live & Local (Saint Kilda, VIC, Australia)

8/27 – The Penny Black (Brunswick, VIC, Australia)

9/9 – Pow – Mynt Lounge (Werribee, VIC, Australia)

9/10 – Captain Cook Hotel (Sydney, NSW, Australia)
