British indie pop artist, Will Joseph Cook, is a genius marketer in disguise in his new video “Sweet Dreamer” where we see (or at least we think we see) him ridiculing the absurdity of TV culture. He navigates us through all types of chintzy ads and stereotypical channels while keeping the bouncy tune anchor the playful atmosphere. Hit play cus there’s an unexpected twist:

Regarding the video, he commented “It’s about losing a grasp on reality, with me ultimately being swallowed into a dystopian world of TV clichés. I like to give the song a duality and make people see it in a different light. I want people to hear the song, work it out, and then be right back at square one after seeing the video.” Mindfucking.
