After rocketing us into the dancefloor with his electro track, “Saying It Right,” Los Angeles-based artist Jake Davis takes us further beyond the floor by hitting us with “So Let Me Go.” The track takes you to bed and not because it’s a lullaby – it’s a metaphorical Rated R track that showers you with thumpgasmic zeal in the rock arena. “So Let Me Go” is from his debut EP, The Valley, which was inspired mainly from growing up in 109° wtF buttfuck frying suburbs. Davis shared that the song was “basically just pure sex. It’s dripping in distortion and soaked with heavy beats. I open my shows with it…definitely gets the blood pumping.” That’s right. He said it. SEX.
