Up-and-coming electropoptress, Madeline Spooner, is a must-name to keep in your playlist library – her unorthodox experimental soundscapes are latticework of synth-blown atmosphere and crispy vocals that swishes effortlessly through your ears. Originally from the Midwest, Madeline Spooner is now based in Los Angeles and has released her six-track EP, NAUTILUS, in collaboration with producer/engineer Ethan Allen (Ben Harper, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Cult, etc.) back in July 2016. Madeline recently showcased her versatility as the avant garde musician of her generation at the stages of The Satellite in Silverlake. Check out the gal’s performance:
This wasn’t Madeline’s first performance at The Satellite, the dudette actually completed a residency* there back in spring 2016. Madeline has also performed at Chinatown Summer Nights on the LA Weekly live stage and “Electric Desert Nights” at The Standard Hotel. You can listen to her single “Had To Let It Go” below:
*The Satellite is known for its Monday night free shows where a band/artist gets to play every Monday night for a month. The opening bands rotate, so while you see the main act who is taking “residency” for that month, you also get to see new acts. Check it out cus it’s FREE. F-R-E-E.
