Two Words For Iconique’s Performance At The Satellite: Disco Baller

Los Angeles-based trio, Iconique, adds their own variables of disco-infused synthpop into the dancefloor equation that immediately sends your serotonins spinning. Comprised of the siblings Eric Promani (drums/synths) and Greg Promani (guitar), and Leo Paparella (vocals/synths), Iconique captures the hookiness of pop, but adds their own synth gloss and dash of 80s disco. Their melody is sparsely threaded with moodiness despite the bombastic instances and punchy keyboard taps, finding the optimum balance between being a party track and daytime mood booster.
