Aside from having a motherocking moniker, Flossed In Paradise knows how to hybridize electronic genre with shoegaze sound, producing what feels like the most mindful-procrastination music. His latest single “Loss Leaves You” will allow you to just chillax as if you are sipping margarita, but will keep you invigorated enough so you don’t pass out drunk. It’s a semi-distracting track that will let your mind wander in a synth-powered trance, but keep you in auto-pilot functioning mode. Flossed In Paradise is a hot mess in social media and self-introduction. So after clicking here and there, we found out that he is Alex French (bass/vocals) from the Brooklyn dreampop band, Teen Body. His band gravitates more towards the indie side whereas his project Flossed In Paradise leans more towards the electronic one. His first EP, Hate, under his rad moniker was released back in 2012. “Loss Leaves You” is from his upcoming EP, Offworld, which will be released in 2017. You can follow him on Twitter and SoundCloud.
