Edinburgh trio, Young Fathers, knows that doubting is just a wasteful activity that will lead to unproductive nothingness and their track “Only God Knows” highlights it. It is also their soundtrack for the highly anticipated film, Trainspotting 2, the sequel to Trainspotting (duh!) – a classic considered to be the existentialistic bible (drive-thru, video version) for millennials. We all remember the feces-coated toilette scene, heroine addiction, SHITE, and of course, Ewan McGregor’s ballz:
Young Fathers started out back in 2008 and snatched the Mercury Prize for their debut record, Dead, which came out in 2014. Their latest record, White Men Are Black Men Too, was released back in 2015, which lead them to international tours. As of now, they don’t have any tour dates coming up so follow them on Facebook or Instagram.
Trainspotting 2 recently came out in the UK and will be out on March 17 in the US.
