LA-based artist, Maggie McClure, has the same type of pop demeanor that you would get from Sara Bareilles and Regina Spektor – her latest single, “Be Right Here For You,” has a piano-fueled perkiness that surrounds you with commercial vibes. It is the type of track you would expect to hear from an ad or TV episode due to its feel-good effect that immediately pins you to the chorus. There is a lightness to the compositional arrangement that cavorts between classy pop to modern chicness. Hit play:

If McClure sounds familiar, it’s because she has been soundtracking all the shows you’ve been watching – Dr Phil, Cougar Town, The Hills, and many more. She has already released two EPs and her most recent, third album, Time Moves On, centers on her move from Oklahoma to LA. She has opened up for other artists including Sara Bareilles, Alicia Witt, Walk Off The Earth, and others. As of now, she has a show date coming up:

4/15 – The Hotel Café (Los Angeles, CA, USA)
