Made-in-LA rock quartet, Dawes, explores the art of splitting everything after breaking up with someone in the new video “Roll With The Punches.” Although it is thematically depressive (they’re breaking up, c’mon!), you can’t help but enjoy the humor in the absurdity that exes go through to divide things in the most symmetric way possible – which potentially leads to more hot messiness. Sonically, the track has a lightness to it where we get immediately drawn to the magnetic rhythm of the strings. Rock and “Roll With The Punches”:

“Roll With The Punches” is from Dawes’ fifth album, We’re All Gonna Die, which came out on September 2016. Dawes are known for their mind-gluing folk rock bats that have lead them to various TV show appearances (The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson) and worldwide tour. They have also played at the Occupy all Street event back in December 2011. They are on tour now:
