LA disco funker, Jason Gaffner, takes a Stevie Wonder twist in his new disco banger “Phantom” – an immediate ticket to the funkadelic land. It’s not rushed, but delivers that punch of adrenaline that pumps up your mood and at the same time lets you savor the soul-infused sonic territory. Play it at your next party and everyone will win:
“ ‘Phantom’ was re-written about three times and ultimately I went back to the very first version which I originally wrote for just piano and vocals. It was much slower and much more sombre. This definitely has a different vibe from the old version that I recorded.” shared Jason Gaffner.
The track is from his debut EP, Journeys, which includes other bangers including “Feel Something,” “Murder In The First Degree” and “When The Sun Goes Down.” Go say hi or quietly stalk him on Facebook and Instagram.
