What happens when you inject the DNA of soul and blues into the rock world? You get Shane Henry’s “Save Me” – an invigorating banger that thrusts through your ears with its electric guitar and marching beats. The track has the vintage spirit of rock, but rolls on a more ambient direction as you let Henry’s vocals deliver a smooth zeal into your eardrums. Salvation is just one click away:

Originally from Minneapolis, Shane Henry is no amateur – he has been songsculpting with professional producers since the age of 19. He has also opened for other artists including BB King, Etta James, Buddy Guy, Edwin McCain, and the Destroyers. A number of his songs have been already featured in TV networks (NBC, CBS, E! Television, Discovery Channel, etc.), radio stations, and films. “Save Me” is from his upcoming record, Light in the Dark, which will be out on April 28.

“I’ve experienced the highs and lows that accompany a career involved in making music,” shared Henry. “The songs I’ve included on Light in the Dark express that range of emotions — the struggle, the spiritual journey, the excitement and the enlightenment, all while trying to offer some thoughts about what it takes to find one’s place in the world and the steps we need to take to realize our dreams.”

Shane Henry has show dates coming up:

3/3 – Riverwind Casino (Norman, OK, USA)

3/4 – El Toro Chino (Norman, OK, USA)

4/28 – Hotel Café CD Release Show! (Los Angeles, CA, USA)

5/19 – VZD’s (Oklahoma City, OK, USA)
