Chicago-based hip hop artist, JAMS The Flava Child, frames his hustler spirit in firing layers of funk and rhythmic march in his single “All I Know.” Its lyrical richness is graffitted with JAMS’ unfiltered recount of his own struggle, hope, and constant grinding that he went through and every broke millennial can relate. “I used to walk a mile or 2 to work in the snow to make $9 an hour. I would work 8 -12 hr shifts then hustle afterwards. I would go all around the city doing whatever I could to make money. So I’ll forever remain humble and never forget where we come from,” shared JAMS.
“All I Know” is the leadoff of JAMS’ upcoming EP The Flava Child Experience, which is based on his life struggling with multiple jobs, losing friends to drugs, and heartbreaks. The record, which was produced by Bosnian producer Nedim Melkic, will be coming out on May 12th. JAMS has already performed sold-out shows with other musicians including Big Sean, Machine Gun Kelly, and Rich the Kid. He has a show coming up:
