Sedative, colorful, and semi-retro rock.

Indie rock quartet, Lovely Bad Things, shared their video for “Hiding To Nothing” where we see the four members perform in a color-blocking, 90s-screen quality setting. The video is laid back and you almost wonder if they are the ones who are on sedatives or you’re the one on sedatives watching the video. Perfect for flâneurs, procrastinators, & chill pill enthusiasts out there:

Despite the fizzy smoothness, there is a slick dynamism present within the solid percussive strikes and drummings. “Hiding To Nothing” is from their most recent EP, Homebodied, which was released via Burger Records on April 3rd of this year. Formed back in 2009 in La Mirada, the quartet has already gained wide recognition for their garage/indie rock sound with influences of punk. They have already played several national shows and festivals including FYF, SXSW, and Primavera Sound. As of now, they haven’t announced any tour dates yet but expect to hear more from them soon.
