The Magpie Salute’s “Omission” Is Rock Steroids For Your Ears

Capturing the raw stages of exhilaration.

American rock band, The Magpie Salute, dropped their latest single “Omission” – a blood-rushing piece that strikes its raw, hardcore roots of rock. Powered by audacious vocals and cathartic outbursts, “Omission” is a dense energizer where the multi-vocal choruses and variegated percussions transport you to stadium-sized soundscape. The Magpie Salute adroitly executes melodic maximalism from start to finish:

Formed in 2016 by former Black Crowes’ members Rich Robinson, Marc Ford, Sven Pipien, and other members including Matt Slocum, Joe Magistro, Adrien Reju, Katrine Ottosen, John Hogg, Nico Bereciartua, and Charity White, The Magpie Salute is a one longass rock act. You can call it an army. “Omission” is from The Magpie Salute’s self-titled debut record, which will be released on June 9th. Aside from “Omission,” the other tracks in the album were recorded live in a studio in Woodstock, New York in front of an audience. The newly formed rock army will start invading stages on June, so go see them live:
