Aussie rockers, Gang of Youths, swagger us to rock synthphony in their new single “Let Me Down Easy.” Filtering the chord-mad, pristine bliss of alternative rock, the quintet toys with an orchestraic approach by integrated a wide range of instruments. Aside from the splashy drum rolls and splattering synths, the hulusi interludes give us a few seconds of Zen ecstasy:

“Let Me Down Easy” is the follow up of their most recent singles “What Can I Do If the Fire Goes Out?” and “Atlas Drowned.” The whole gang have been recently working on their second album with producer Peter Katis (Kurt Vile, War On Drugs, The National) and are getting ready to kick off their US tour.
