With a soothingly, feather-like smoothness that feels like you’ve been sedated halfway into an existential breakdown, Bantam Lyon’s “Melatonin” suspends you to a laid-back dreamy atmosphere of rock. It’s got an undertone of bittersweet gentleness to it that feels like you’re delving into complex layers of distinct emotions in slo-mo:

“Melatonin” is from their new EP, Oh Cordélia!, which was released back in May 14th via Kshantu Records in the UK. The French quartet have already gained wide acclaim for their mesmerizing EP and performance at this year’ The Great Escape Festival. If you haven’t seen them live yet, they have more show dates coming up:

6/24 – Fête de la Musique (Landeda, France)

8/3 – Les Jeudis du Port (Brest, France)
