People love to butt into your relationships and break down all the flaws (according to them) in order to feel superior…it’s a way of masturbating the ego. Los Angeles pop duo, Cardiknox, gives the middle finger to those individuals in their single “Fuck With You.” It’s a sweet slice of party-ready synthpop that feels like it was designed for sex on the dancefloor. Hit play:
“Sometimes being in love is intense. And wonderful and hard and unexplainable. And no matter what bullshit life and people are throwing at you, it’s really only about you and that other person. None of the other noise matters. That’s what ‘Fuck With You’ is about,” says Angle. “We wanted you to feel that message almost louder than hearing it in the lyric” shared Lonnie Angle of Cardiknox.
Aside from Lonnie, the other half of Cardiknox is Thomas Dutton. “Fuck With You” is the follow up of their debut record Portrait, which came out in 2016 and lead them to four national tours (with Carly Rae Jepsen, The Knocks, and Phoebe Ryan). They’ve also hit festival stages like Bonnaroo and gained wide acclaim for their outré hit-level sound. They haven’t announced any tour dates yet, so we suggest you to follow them on Facebook and Instagram.
