Meet the rising trio.

After killing it onstage at the Glastonbury Festival this year with their single “Beehive,” Gaffa Tape Sandy is starting to make waves in the British garage rock scene like wildfire. The trio, originally from Bury St. Edmunds (Suffolk), exhibits a raw zeal that quickly permeates in the atmosphere with moody smokiness. Melodically, it is slightly dark where the strumming chords and warbly bassline create a mesmeric effect that tangles your attention span. Check out their live performance of “Beehive” at Glastonbury:

And since you’re already here, you might as well indulge in their previous single “Water Bottle”:

Gaffa Tape Sandy are comprised of Kim Jarvis (vocals/guitar), Catherine Lindley-Neilson (vocals/bass) and Robin Francis (drums/percussion) who formed the band back in 2015. They debuted their first single “Smart Dressed Guy” back in February 2016 and gained wide acclaim for it. As of now they, have several show dates coming up:

7/21 – Three Wise Monkeys (Colchester, UK)

7/29 – The Swan (Ipswich, UK)

8/5 – The Junction (Cambridge, UK)

8/20 – The Burston Crown (Burston, UK)

9/2 – Steamboat Tavern (Ipswich, UK)
