A burning, atmospheric sound.

Los Angeles-based trio, Midnight Faces, dropped “Devils Money” as part of the MICRODOSE series that their record label Dangerbird is running. MICRODOSE is a monthly single release and live performance series that takes place in LA. “Devils Money” is an airy, progressive rock piece that breathes into your system and heightens your auditory bliss as you immerse into the shivering synthwaves. Midnight Faces keeps rock at its core, but also nudges you to shoegaze territory where the percussive chaos isolates you into a calming, dreamy state. Hit play below:

“Devils Money” is from Midnight Faces’ LP Heavenly Bodies, which was released back in August 26th, 2016. Comprised of Mathew Doty (guitar, bass, synth), Phil Stancil (vocas, guitar bass) and Paul Doyle (drummer), the trio released its first LP Fornication back in 2013. Both LPs have made waves in various playlists and gained praise from major press. As of now, they are set to perform for the next MICRODOSE event:
