“Tell me baby, if I drive it like I stole it / Would you say that I flaunt it way too much?” chants vocalist James of Eliza and the Bear in the new single “Higher.” The UK band takes us into a chasing party of pop-rock rush where the foot-stomping beats and firing synths elevate you with stadium-sized euphoria. It is the type of music that has all the embellishments of mainstream pop, but with a pinch of rock zeal. Hit play below:

“Higher” is the latest single of the four-piece act and a stepping-stone. After parting ways with Capitol Records due to creative differences, Eliza and the Bear released the track as a starting point for a new pop-rock sound. And so far, it has paid off – they already had two sold-out, single launch shows back in June. Moreover, they have other upcoming shows and festival appearances coming up:

9/2 – Rivfest (Warrington, UK)

9/9 – Moira Calling (Moira, UK)

10/14 – Cub Fest – The Welly (Hull, UK)

10/15 – Cub Fest – The Waterfront (Norwich, UK)
