Philadelphia rockers, Radiator Hospital, knows that in order to block out the external noise of your environment’s chaos (like your colleague crunching Doritos right around the corner…yes, I’m talking about you Brian), you need a soundproof single like “Pastoral Radio Hit.” This is the type of song that transports you away from all the ambient shenanigans by sending dense layers of high-frequency hiss and fuzzy atmospheric beats. The lyrics dissolves in the background, letting you choose to listen to it or not. Shut the world down with “Pastoral Radio Hit”:

The single is from the Philly band’s upcoming album, Play The Songs You Like, which was recorded by Jeff Zeigler (The War On Drugs, Kurt Vile, Mary Lattimore) and will be out on October 20th. Radiator Hospital is comprised of Cook-Parrott (singer & guitarist), Cynthia Schemmer (guitarist & singer), Jeff Bold (drummer), and Jon Rybicki (bassist), who have already released a number of EPs and albums. As of now, the band is preparing for their fall tour:

10/19 – Silent Barn (Brooklyn, NY, USA)

10/20 – The First Unitarian Church (Philadelphia, PA, USA)

10/21 – Cambridge YMCA (Boston, MA, USA)

10/22 – Flywheel (Northampton, MA, USA)

10/23 – Mac 650 (Middletown, CT, USA)

10/24 – In The West (New Brunswick, NJ, USA)

10/25 – Strange Matter (Richmond, VA, USA)

10/27 – Comet Ping Pong (Washington, DC, USA)
