Malaysian producer, Kuizz, takes us on a chest-pounding synthpop journey with his new single “Silences” featuring Haneri. The song beats over the gleaming sea of hooks that have been polished with big pop trimmings. There is a pinch of melancholia that lies beneath the lush layers, adding an emotional touch to it. Contrary to its title, “Silences” fills the room with bursting choruses and exquisite melody. Stream below:
“‘Silences’ is about a relationship drifting apart caused by miscommunication and unspoken words” explained Kuizz.
Originally from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Kuizz has already garnered more than 300k plays on Spotify with his debut EP last year. Haneria, who hops between LA and Singpore, is also a well-known name in the songwriting world. She has co-written the No. kpop track “Wave” and has featured on the works of major DJs like Paul Van Dyke and Avicii. “Silences” is now available on all streaming platforms.
