When you mix “music, friends, cerveza, pizza” together, you get a four-piece band called Alice True Colors who craft electropical-infused groove. The Mexican quartet sounds like Chromeo and Miami Horror mated gracefully at the beach. Their latest video “Mal Timing” is saturated with neon lights and retro elements where we see an attractive female photographer take snapshots of the four. Peppered with nostalgic 80s disco, contemporary urban pop, and tropical sparks, “Mal Timing” is a slick mood booster for the party. Anytime is good timing to play “Mal Timing”:

The track is from Alice True Colors’ album Topical Deco, which was released on July 4th. Formed back in 2013, Alice True Colors has become one of the fastest growing acts in the electropop scene in Mexico and have earned comparisons to the likes of Chromeo, Neon Indian, and many more. They have already played headline shows and hit festival stages across Mexico, building a wide fanbase for their avant-garde sound. As of now, they have a festival date coming up:

12/9 – Indie Live Merida (Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico)
