UK multi-instrumentalist and producer, Foodoo, enlists rapper Bonkaz to bring back old school love in his new single “Nokia Nostalgia.” The video follows Bonkaz showcasing his vocal prowess as he takes us into a tunnel and abandoned buildings. The screen’s quality switches from modern to chintzy interchangeably, which adds a retro cinematographic touch to it. “Nokia Nostalgia” exhibits graceful pacing and hits every cathartic moment with precision – it is a knotted production that articulates emotions with heart-gripping words and smooth rhymes. Watch below:
“Nokia Nostalgia” is from Foodoo’s EP, Be Like, which was released back in August 18 of this year and includes vocal collaborations from Dotty, Mugun, Marvz Skee, and Bonkaz. Foodoo, who received his first BBC radio play at the age of 14, has gained critical acclaim from major press for his work as a producer.
