Sol Heilo takes us into a stop motion world of dolls in her new video “Killing Karma” – an indie folk piece that showcases Sol’s ability to hopscotch from different pitches and timbres while producing a gospel-like effect. Graced with intricate synth details and samples, “Killing Karma” is an ambitious piece with a wide array of substance when it comes to tones and production. Stream below:

Sol created the video on her own, taking 6,780 separate photos shot with her iPhone (this is not an iPhone ad though). The track is from her debut album Skinhorse Playground, which will be out on October 27th via Propeller Recordings. Sol is also part of the Norwegian folk band, Katzenjammer – an internationally acclaimed band that has been certified Gold status in Germany and have toured around the world.
