London-based, Greek experimental artist, Leon Of Athens, shared another mesmeric single “Utopia” where he addresses the refugee crisis. Taken from his forthcoming album Xenos, “Utopia” is a fast strumming track where the bursting chords and bubbling synths buoy you to a sweet intensity. Capturing the hope and uncertainty of being close yet far from a destination, the track speaks to refugees and anyone who have taken the leap of faith. “I don’t know if I’m starting now / Or I’ve just arrived” chants Leon. “Utopia” is a portrayal of the confusion, exhaustion, and motivation of those seeking to reach a better future. It is bittersweet and needs to be on-repeat:

Xenos will be out on January 19th, 2018 and Leon will be touring across Europe for the rest of 2017:

10/28 – Six D.O.G.S. (Athens, Greece)

11/7 – Musik & Frieden (Berlin, Germany)

11/17 – Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen (London, UK)

11/25 – De Lijsterbes (Brussels, Belgium)
