German folk duo, Milky Chance, team up with British songstress Izzy Bizu in their new video “Bad Things” where we see the trio circling around the streets at different times. The song is catchy and has an upbeat, cheek-in-tongue vibe to it that takes you on a folksy vibe. Lyrically, it is an ode to the person who sticks with us through difficult times – no matter how messy the shit gets, this person serves is there as an emotional anchor to help you get through the rough times. Watch below:

The inspiration for ‘Bad Things” came from a feeling of finding yourself repeatedly stuck in the same kind of situation.” explains Clemens, continuing “It’s a tiring, going-around-in-circles-tragedy. In the end it‘s always up to you to find the way out, but this song is a shout out to that person’s who always there whilst you work it out.” Explained vocalist/guitarist Clemens Rehbein.

The other half of Milky Chance is drummer/producer Philipp Dausch. “Bad Things” is from Milky Chance’s sophomore album Blosson, which has already accumulated 160 million streams since its release. It is the follow up of their debut album, Sadnecessary, which became an international sensation. As of now, Milky Chance is preparing to hit the road non-stop from November to next year’s summer. Go party with them:
