“Goodbye friend, I’m going home again / To reintroduce myself” chants LA duo Cones. The sibling act is back with a new single where they explore the bittersweet digestion of finding closure with a breakup. Radiating a fragile gentle swag, Cones shatters the boundaries of pop with their acidic bass, chords, and synths that morph into swirling distortion. Juggling between hope and bitterness, Cones boxes us into the denouement phase of getting over someone where the joy of starting new still comes with some emotional scars. Listen below:

In regards to the single, Cones shared that it “captures that moment in a breakup when you finally start to find peace, but some of that bitterness is still hanging around.”
