Producer Jolyon Thomas (U2 & Royal Blood) Gets Nominated For The MPG Awards

Producer Jolyon Thomas, the UK maestro behind Royal Blood’s chart-topping record How Did We Get So Dark?, have been nominated for Breakthrough Producer Of The Year at the Music Producers Guild Awards. How Did We Get So Dark? has also landed nomination in UK Album Of The Year alongside the single “Lights Out,” which landed in UK Single Song Release Of The Year. Stream “Lights Out” below:

Previously, Jolyon has produced, mixed, engineered, co-written and played for artists including Slaves, Daughter, M83, Maps, British Sea Power and many more. He has also recorded, produced, and mixed Slaves’ album Are You Satisfied?, which was nominated for Mercury Award. Being one of the most promising young producers, Jolyon will continue conquering the charts when U2’s Songs of Experience will be out on December 1st. Yes, of course he is one of the creative powerhouses behind it.
