Music meets magic.

If there’s anything that Leon Of Athens knows how to nail is to give otherworldly performances that looks like watching a magic show. His live performance of “Xenos” at SNFCC starts off with a dim, quiet intensity that bursts into exuberant, infectious energy. The London-based, Greek artist pours it all out when he’s at his natural habit – that is, the stage:

“Xenos” is from his upcoming album with the same title that will be out on February 9th. Produced by David Kosten, the album addresses political issues (Syrian refugee crisis, fascists groups in Europe, Brexit) along with personal ones (relationships, faith, freedom, mortality, youth). While Leon dissects complex themes, he uses light hooks that buoy his listeners from hair-raising euphonious highs to levelheaded comfort. Xenos will be out on February 9th, 2018 via Universal and has just been confirmed to paly at SXSW 2018. He currently has a show coming up:

11/17 – Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen (London, UK)
