Ohio-conceived, LA-based quartet Line & Circle capture the social cannibalism that some people practice in their new single “Vicious Folly.” Inspired by the Latin proverb ‘Homo homini lupus est’ which translates to “A man is a wolf to another man,” the track ruminates into a sea of fizzling chords and mesh-like rhythmic structure that immerses you into a philosophical state. The moody undertones and lightness of the tune uplifts you into a hopeless euphoria. Stream below:

“Vicious Folly” is from the band’s new EP with the same title that will be released on December 1st. Line & Circle gained wide acclaim for their debut record Split Figure in 2015, which lead them to national tour and festival performances, including SXSW Festival in Austin. As of now, the quartet has a show coming up:

12/9 – Basic Flowers (Los Angeles, CA, USA)
