With sliding guitars and gleaming percussions, UK singer/songwriter Alex Francis builds a contemplative soulful ambience in “All I’ve Got.” Taking off with a chill and laid-back swag, Alex builds up the rhythmic pulse with his scraping vocals that oddly feel smooth. If you need a gentle reminder to be grateful, this is a treat for you:

“‘All I’ve Got’ is quite a confessional song of mine,” shared Alex. “I’m being pretty honest about the fact that the way I live my life in a material sense isn’t how I want it to stay forever. For some of the stresses and strains that might weigh heavy in my day to day, the clear fact is that I already have the most important things I need.”

The single is from Alex’ upcoming EP A Stronger Love, which will be out on December 1st. Produced by Gus Pirelli (Disclosure, Sam Smith), the record features three other tracks that embodies Alex’ distinctive rock craft. The rising singer has already spent this year’s summer touring with Melanie C and hitting UK festival stages including Isle of Wight and Standon Calling. He will start touring again towards the end of this month, so go check him out.
