UK duo Ferris & Sylvester shared their new bluesy single “Better In Yellow” where the duo takes us into a feel-good soundscape of glimmering guitar strings and bouncy percussions that yield a buoyant soundscape. It is the type of comfort song that sounds so simple yet is constructed on intricate details that elevate your mood. Stream below:
“We liked the idea of writing about yellow being a positive state of mind, happy and vibrant, instead of settling for greyness. It can be easy to wear black and blend in. Sometimes though, it’s best to be yourself, put on some clashy colours and not care too much.” shared Ferris & Sylvester.
“Better In Yellow” is from the duo’s upcoming EP, Made In Streatham, which will be out on February 2nd. Their forthcoming EP is the follow up of their debut EP The Yellow Line, which received praises from media outlets and BBC Radio 2. The duo has a headline show date coming up next year:
1/11 – Battersea Arts Centre (London, UK)
